Nutrition Breakfast: Rainier Christian Preschool offers breakfast for children arriving before 7:30 a.m. A $1.00 fee will be due at time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. We are not able to serve meals after 7:30 a.m. so be sure to plan accordingly. Lunch: Children enrolled in our childcare program will be served lunch each day. A good variety of foods are offered within a reasonably balanced menu. Milk, juice and water are included. Our lunch menus are sent home at the beginning of each month, and are posted in each classroom for your convenience. They are also on our website: www.Rainiercsd.org Lunches from home are only accepted for medical reasons, but no fee adjustments are made. Snack: Nutritious snacks are provided mid-morning, mid-afternoon, and late afternoon. Our snacks consist of milk, juice, or water, served with fruit, vegetables, crackers, cheese, muffins, and other various items. Sweets are generally avoided. Snack menus are sent home monthly. Parents who wish to provide store bought snacks for their child's class may do so by checking with their teacher. We do not allow gum, soda pop, or high-sugar foods to be brought to the center. |
