Check-In/Check out: Sign-in books are located in each classroom. State law requires a full signature when signing your child in and out each day. Parents who do not comply with this requirement will receive a warning and then a $10.00 fee will be charged to your account. State Law also requires that a child be accompanied into and out of the building by an adult. (18 years or older) Be sure to allow plenty of time for comfortably paced routines and good-byes. This will help your child feel more secure. Please remember that it takes time for children to adjust to new surroundings. Separation anxiety is common among preschoolers, however, we recommend you do not linger. Your child will soon learn that they are in a safe environment and that you will return! When checking out for the day, be sure to collect your child's belongings and papers (blankets on Fridays!). All persons designated to pick up your child must have preauthorization in your child's file. Any additions must be in written form from you. Picture identification will be required of persons we are not familiar with. The office staff will call you about any situation that is questionable. It is very important that home, work, cell, and emergency numbers be kept current! Please drive slowly in the parking lot when dropping off or picking up your child.
