We will do everything possible to assist you in making your child’s potty training a positive training experience of their development. Please remember that the environment in our childcare center is different than at home. Consequently your child will respond differently here, such as, cooperating better or resisting more. Please be patient and understanding of your child….they may not be as ready as you are!!

Training should always begin at home preferably over a long weekend or vacation. You may use panties with or without rubber pants or pull ups. Pull ups sometimes lengthen the process because the child doesn’t feel the wetness.

After a few days of you and your child having success we will continue the process here at school. We will remind your child and encourage them to use the toilet, but we cannot force them to participate. Expect lots of accidents until they become more confident, so be sure and have plenty of clothes and shoes.
