Days and Hours of Operation Highlands Preschool and Childcare is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Preschool sessions are from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and we offer an afternoon four year old class on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 12:30-3:00 p.m. Punctuality is important to ensure your child receives maximum benefit from the classroom experience. Highlands Preschool and Childcare will be closed in observance of the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We will also be closed the day after Christmas if it falls on a Friday. Children are not to remain at the center past 6:00 p.m. If you are certain that you will be late, a phone call is mandatory. There will be a charge for pick-up after 6:00 p.m. at the current hourly rate per every five minutes. Please see the financial brochure for accurate amounts. |
