School Board Structure

Rainier Christian Schools is overseen by Christian Enterprises, a non-profit religious educational corporation, organized under the laws of the State of Washington and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit 501(c)3 religious corporation.  As such, contributions to the school are tax deductible.

RCS has a board at the district level and at the local campuses.  The boards are made up of those who are called by God into the leadership of the school.

The RCS board is always the Corporate board of Christian Enterprises and is responsible for all assets, liabilities, procedures, policy making and activities of any member of RCS.  The local advisory board is to support the administrator at the local campus within the guidelines of RCS, but allowing autonomy in developing the “personality” of the local school.  It is a planning and praying board and not an administrative board.
