Medications Medications will be
given to a student at school only when it is brought by a parent and a
medication consent form is signed noting complete information.
Medications will be dispensed by the office staff.
At no time are students to “carry” any type of medication with
them in their pockets, backpacks or desks, including cough drops, etc. Written permission for acetaminophen must be on file in order
for us to administer. We will
always call you prior to giving your child any so you will know what time
we gave it. Federal law requires that all prescription medications must be kept in the original containers from the pharmacy. We also require that all over the counter medications be brought in the original containers. Be sure all medications brought to school are brought to the school office in the original containers. |
