Academic Results

Rainier Christian Schools is not only a positive, encouraging environment for students, but it also produces students with a desire to learn and excel academically.

The Stanford Achievement Tests are given annually for students in grades K-8. In the most recent year completed, RCS students (on average) scored in the 72nd percentile, substantially above the national average.

Rainier Christian High School athletic teams are regularly recognized by the WIAA (Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association) for scholastic excellence. Various teams have been honored with Distinguished Team, Outstanding Team, or Academic State Champion awards in the past several years.

The SAT Exam is taken by juniors and seniors each year. During 2007 and 2008 the senior classes averaged over 1700 on the exam, nearly 200 points (13%) higher than the national average.

97% of recent graduates were scheduled to pursue post-secondary education.

Lastly, the graduating classes of 2007 and 2008 (each graduating class had 30 students) were offered more than $1,800,000 in scholarships and grants.
